Residente de la costa del Pacífico, desde la isla de Chiloé hasta el sur de Tierra del Fuego. Se diferencia de patachonicus porque macho y hembra tienen el pico anaranjado y no vuela. Avanzan rápidamente por el agua aleteando y pataleando “como un barco vapor”. L. 80cm


Resident of the coasts of the Pacific, from Chiloé Island to the south of Tierra del Fuego. Can be recognize because male and female have orange bill and it’s unable to fly, unlike patachonicus . It moves, or “steams”, across the water surface by wing-beats and the propulsión of its legs .L (31”)
