Nidifica en verano en aguas interiores dulces y en invierno reside en las costas marinas, aunque tambien puede migrar hacia el norte de Argentina. Es muy silencioso y se zambulle todo el tiempo mostrandose muy desconfiado. L. 26cm
Breeds during the summer on interior sweets waters and frequents shelteredseacoasts during the winter. Part of the southernmost populations migrates northwards to Argentina. It’s Very silent, wary, diving for long periods.L: (10 ¼”)
